Embrie's 1st Haircut

Embrie and I got haircuts today. Embrie had one curl in the very back that was much longer than the rest of her hair, so I took her to get it evened out a bit. I let her get her nails painted as well. She was excited!

My mama made Quincey and Solee these super cute diaper covers and bare-foot sandals. Take a peek at these darling little models.

Embrie's My 3-Year-Old Princess

Embrie's 3rd birthday party was rockin' this year. We threw her a princess and prince party. We kept it simple with a bounce house, pinata and cake. She had a wonderful time, and she totally got spoiled by her friends and family.

Here We Go Again

It's been less than a month, but we took another Disney trip.

A couple weeks ago my mother called and said they were thinking about taking another trip out to see us (Solee mostly). That thought quickly changed into a full plan to visit, including bringing Crystal and four of her kids. Yay!

Crystal hadn't been to Disneyland in years, so of course wanted to go, and I'm always up for a Disney trip!

On October 8th, Embrie's 3rd birthday, the kids and I drove to Anaheim. Shay didn't get to go with us because he had just got called back to work after his extended leave for his knee surgery and rehab. I'm still mourning the loss of my co-stay-at-home parent. Oh well. Such is life.

Anyway, we got to the hotel, checked in, and waited for my family to show up. They did, and it was so nice to see them!

That evening Crystal, Abby, Quincey, Solee, Cayben, Embrie and I went to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. After we ate, the waiters and waitresses sang "Happy Birthday" to Embrie and gave her cake in a parfait glass, which she dropped and broke.

The next morning we went to Disneyland. It was magical like always.

Cayben's favorite part of Disneyland was Tarzan's Tree House. He ran through it over and over again while making jungle noises.

We headed to my house on Wednesday. We stopped in Solvang on the way for a little shopping and some Danish Aebleskivers. Fun times!
