Easter morning the kids awoke in Grandma and Grandpa's camper. They went outside to find their Easter gifts.

Afterward, we went to church and then headed to beautiful Zion National Park. We took the tram tour and took a little hike up to Weeping Rock.

Our drive back to the campground was eventful. Shay got pulled over (He didn't get a ticket.) followed by Cayben puking all over the back seat of the Suburban. We stopped at a little market to get some Lysol/ odor killing stuff because although we had already stopped to clean up the boy and the Suburban, the smell was killing me. The kids found this cute dinosaur to play on at the market.

As what happens often, Easter Day, itself didn't end up being as Christ-centered as I would hope. We went to church, prayed, read scripture and enjoyed the majesty of God's creations, but it still was lacking. Fortunately we tried to have daily devotionals the week leading up to Easter Sunday. We used
these devotionals created by our friend and former neighbor.
I feel blessed to have a testimony of Jesus Christ and His resurrection. I'm thankful for a day (or week) to celebrate Him and his ultimate sacrifice for us! Happy Easter!
