Tahoe Getaway

I recently discovered Travelzoo, which is a website that has great deals on travel. It gets the worst of me. I can't pass up a good deal EVER! I feel like I'm missing some great opportunity if I do.

Anyway, we found a great deal on a nearby resort. So this past weekend we went on a little mini vacation to South Lake Tahoe. It was fantastic! I love that area of the country, and I love to get away from home, even if it's just one night.

We hot-tubbed and hiked.

We drove down to the lake, but didn't get out of the car because the weather turned crappy. We had a fabulous time though. Check out the videos below to get the added disgusting details.

On Tuesdays the kids and I go to a yoga class. I've mentioned it before. Afterward we love feeding the goats and chickens!

Easter

Easter has got to be one of the best holidays. Easter and Christmas. Guess I just love celebrating Jesus.

I love the reason we celebrate Easter. I love Springtime. I love pastel colors. And I love bunnies. It's a perfect holiday!

I tried to get some pictures of my kids in their Easter attire. As it turns out, only one of my kids likes posing for pictures.

With great difficulty I got a few snaps of the others too.

In the afternoon we enjoyed a fun egg hunt at the park.

Easter Eve

Easter Eve. Can you call it that? Well I am.

We spent Easter Eve hunting eggs and hanging out with aunts, cousins, and an uncle. Pretty fun.

First stop was a big Easter Egg Dash at Idlewild Park.

Next was an egg scavenger hunt at Scheels.

Then it was time for dinner. Solee doesn't like wearing clothes anymore and can remove them in record time. She does it everywhere, restaurants included.

Zoo Day

We spent the morning at the Sierra Safari Zoo. I love this zoo because you get to get up close to the animals. In fact, you get to even feed the deer and the goats. My favorite part was watching my niece, Sydnee, chase the deer. She wanted to hug every one of them.

In the evening Heather, Mackenzie, and Jorie arrived. Yay!
