I love Valentine's Day. I love celebrating love. I especially love loving my people.

Gifts all ready to be opened |
Shay woke and opened his gift too early for me to take a picture. I just had chocolates for him in the bag. I had already given him his real gift, which was a guitar amp. He spoiled me with flowers, chocolate, and an awesome down coat he picked out for me!
The kids got all sorts of toys and candy!
One of my favorite parts of Valentine's day is the Valentines exchanges at schools. I loved it when I was a kid and I still love it now. Cayben's teachers decided 4th graders are too old for Valentine's Day parties in class. That's hogwash! He didn't seem to mind, but I would have had I been a 4th grader. Who am I kidding? I do care and it's not even me missing out on a party.
Anyway, the girls brought fun Valentines to share with their classmates and came home with candy and cards to enjoy.

Solee brought juice box and candy trains with the saying, "I choo choo choose you to be my Valentine." |

Of course I finished off the day with a hot date with my love.
